Stevyn Fogg
Director of Governance & Strategic Initiatives

 

Stevyn Fogg leads CLA’s efforts to expand and maintain the organization’s knowledge on evidence-based and best practices in criminal justice, corrections, reentry, and other issues that promotes leadership excellence and professionalism. She works closely with multiple state, federal, community-based, and philanthropic organizations to advance the goals of CLA. Ms. Fogg shares technical knowledge gained on relevant topics through professional networks, conferences, meetings, and other events. She also manages the development of a variety of resources for CLA members, criminal justice and corrections practitioners, policymakers, and funders.

Prior to joining CLA, Ms. Fogg was responsible for directing and managing the work of project teams in corrections and criminal justice, non-profit mental health, for-profit consulting, and public sector legal application and enforcement. In her various roles, she has worked with agencies and organizations on evidence-based correctional practices and local and state-level justice reinvestment initiatives. Her expertise also includes having managed national training and technical assistance projects that focused on building offender reentry collaboratives; designed and delivered training to improve culture in correctional facilities; enhanced law enforcement partnerships; and implemented strategies to improve the outcomes for vulnerable populations. Ms. Fogg has also authored and co-authored a variety of resources for criminal justice professionals.

Ms. Fogg holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration of Justice from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Master of Arts degree in Sociology from the George Mason University.
