What Is The CLA Partnership Program?
As the highest appointed authority over corrections in their respective jurisdictions, CLA members represent approximately 400,000 correctional professionals, oversee over 8 million inmates, parolees and probationers, and are responsible for combined annual spending in excess of $80 billion. CLA leaders confront unique challenges in each of their jurisdictions. Implementing correctional best practices and employing strategies to reduce recidivism requires innovation, shared experience, and a commitment to improve.
CLA is excited to introduce a partnership program that furthers our common goal of protecting public safety while supporting meaningful opportunities for people to change.
