 In December 2018, Governor Dunleavy announced Nancy Dahlstrom as the new Commissioner for the Department of Corrections.  Commissioner Dahlstrom was previously an Alaska State Representative between 2003 to 2010 where she served as Co-Chair of the Armed Services Committee, Vice-Chair of the Judiciary Committee, Legislative Budget & Audit Committee, and the Public Safety Finance Subcommittee.
