Avery PlewAdministrative Support SpecialistAvery Plew is a native of Idaho, a graduate of Skyview High School, a former varsity athlete, and the proud wife of her high school sweetheart, who now serves as a local firefighter. In August 2025, they welcomed their baby boy into the world, and Avery is grateful for the opportunity to work remotely, allowing her to be present at home with him while continuing to advance her career. Avery began her professional journey as a Dental Assistant, where she developed a strong foundation in customer service and communication. With a passion for building personal connections and helping others feel their best, she later became a licensed cosmetologist, a role that allowed her to make clients feel confident and cared for. These experiences strengthened her ability to connect with and support others with care and professionalism. In 2025, Avery stepped into her role as an Administrative Support Specialist. She now provides essential administrative and project support to the association’s committees, members, and leadership team. Avery coordinates meetings, oversees Member Clicks updates, surveys, and communications, and contributes to social media and scholarship activities. Her goal is to help create a collaborative, supportive environment where members, associates, and partners can connect, grow, and work together to advance the field of corrections. Avery is excited for this new chapter and looks forward to building meaningful relationships throughout the Correctional Leaders Association. |
