Q: What kind of Probation and Parole leaders should attend?
A: We’re referring to leaders of adult state felony probation and/or parole.

Q: What kind of Deputy Director should attend? 
A: “Deputy Director” refers to the position directly below the DOC agency head — regardless of whether your state uses Deputy Secretary, Deputy Commissioner, or Deputy Director.

Q: If I oversee a large county or state adult felony probation agency, am I eligible to attend these networking meetings?  
A: Yes

Q: Should I send both my Probation & Parole (P&P) leader and the Deputy Director (DD) who oversees P&P, or just the DD?
A: Please send both. The event will have a dedicated agenda for P&P leaders and a separate agenda for DDs.

Q: How many DDs and P&P leaders can I send?
A: You’re welcome to send as many as you’d like—right up until we reach event capacity.

Q: Does CLA cover travel and hotel costs?
A: Unfortunately, no. However, there is no registration fee to attend.

Q: As a CLA Partner or Associate, which sessions can I attend?
A: You’re welcome to join any open sessions from either agenda.

Q. Will CLA start managing and leading the P&P network that NIC previously oversaw?

A. Yes. We are very excited to begin leading this network of leaders.
